Genealogy Workshop
in
George 16 March 2012

Background:

The Genealogical Society of South Africa (GSSA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Uniondale, hosted by eGGSA, the electronic branch.

To celebrate the event a genealogy workshop will be held in George on the morning of 16 March 2012.

The program makes provision for lectures, case studies, exhibition of genealogical material and the sale of products.

Invitation:

As we do not often get the opportunity of attending genealogy meetings in the Southern Cape, we would like to invite other genealogical instititions to join us at the workshop.

You are welcome to exhibit your material alongside ours and you are welcome to sell products as well. We will provide the exhibtion boards and tables.

Administration:-

The number of course participants will be limited to 50
Entrance to the event will be free; booking, however, is essential
We will be advertising in all the Southern Cape museums and libraries. Notices will also be published in the local newspapers
eGGSA will be sponsering the morning
Genealogical organisations taking part will be responsible for their own transport and accommodation costs.

You are also invited to attend the rest of the AGM with us in Uniondale. It will give you the opportunity of meeting other members of GGSA.

Our programme also makes provision for families – spouses and children welcome.
