BOUWER Ancestry
I was directed to contact you through the Genealogy Association. I am currently going personal research of the Bouwer ancestry and would like to know if from my information you could perhaps point me in the right direction to continue my research.
My late mother Susanna Sophia Roux ( Bouwer) corresponded 18 years ago with Mr SF Bouwer of 16 Lucas St, Newtonpark, Port Elizabeth in connection with the Bouwer Family Tree.He indicated that he was busy with research on the Bouwers.
He indicated that our branch was from thje Umtata Bouwers.
I would like to either contact him or gain access to his research.
He promised that a book would soon be available.
I would really appreciate you help .

Ek is na jou toe deur persone uit die Genealogie Vereniging verwys. Ek doen tans navorsing ( vir persoonlike familie doeleindes) van ons Bouwer voorsate en wil weet of jy dalk aan my informasie kan verskaf of aandui waar ek verder moet gaan soek. My moeder ( Susanna Sophia Roux ( Bouwer) nou al oorlede) het so 18 jr gelede korrespondensie met Mr SF Bouwer van 16 Lucas St, Newtonpark, Port Elizabeth gevoer oor die stamboom. Hy het beweer dat hy juis met navorsing tov die Bouwer stamboom besig is. Hy het toendertyd ons vertakking vd stamboom as die “Umtata” Bouwers genoem. Ek sal graag met hom in verbinding wil kom of ten minste toegang tot sy navorsing wil kry. Hy het belowe dat ‘n boek in die verband die lig sal sien.
